TRAVELER'S GUIDE

Sac Ohana promotes a vibrant community that shares a passion for tiki culture and al its associated elements. We enjoy a sense of family-like camaraderie as we come together to celebrate our love for tropical drinks, Polynesian-inspired decor, and the laid-back island
lifestyle. We offer a welcoming space where individuals can connect over shared interests, participate in themed events, and exchange creative ideas for tiki-related projects.

The journey doesn’t end with the Home Bar Tour—explorers gather year-round through meetups, pop-up events, and island-side gatherings.

The best way to stay connected is by following our Instagram, where upcoming meetups and announcements are shared regularly. You can also join the Sac Ohana Facebook group to connect with fellow adventurers, share discoveries, and stay informed about what’s happening across the Lost Islands all year long.

The Home Bar Tour is an annual, ticketed weekend expedition where members of the Sac Ohana community open the doors to their private home tiki bars across the “Lost Islands.”

Each destination offers a rare glimpse into the creativity, craftsmanship, and passion behind building a personal tropical escape at home. From immersive décor to handcrafted cocktails, every stop on the journey reveals a unique island experience created by fellow explorers of the tiki community.

Your ticket grants access to multiple unique home bars, each offering its own immersive atmosphere, décor, and hospitality. Because these venues are private residences with limited capacity and hosting costs, only a limited number of tickets are available each year.

The 2026 Lost Islands expedition dates have not yet been revealed. Full details of the tour, along with ticket releases, will be announced in the coming weeks as we chart the course for this year’s journey.

Tickets will be released in limited waves following the official announcement, with availability restricted due to the intimate nature of each island destination.

To stay informed and secure your passage, keep an eye on our website and social media channels—or subscribe for email updates so you’re first to know when boarding opens.

Because many of our island destinations feature tropical cocktails and spirits, we strongly encourage all explorers to be of legal drinking age (21+).

That said, adventurers of all ages are welcome to join the journey. A selection of non-alcoholic offerings may be available at some islands, though availability will vary by host. As always, anyone consuming alcohol must do so responsibly and in accordance with local laws.

No. Explorers are responsible for charting their own course between island destinations. While we’ve explored organized transportation in past expeditions, the cost proved too great to make it practical.

We strongly encourage adventurers to travel safely by arranging a designated captain, carpooling with fellow explorers, or using rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft. The Lost Islands are best discovered when everyone arrives safely at each port of call.

While every island on the tour will offer light provisions for travelers, even the hardiest explorers may seek a heartier feast. Should hunger strike before, during, or after your adventure, we will be providing a list of these nearby dining spots that are ready to welcome your crew.

While we love all creatures of the islands, no pets or animals are permitted on the Home Bar Tour. Our island destinations are private residences, and many hosts have their own pets, unique environments, or space limitations that make accommodating additional animals difficult.

For the comfort and safety of our hosts, guests, and resident island wildlife, please leave your furry first mates at home. Service animals, as defined by applicable law, are welcome
